3 1/2 months

Eliza Faith now 3 1/2 months old. Where has the time gone?

She has gotten much happier the last couple of days. I hope it stays. She has been a very hard fussy baby.
But pictures like this just show how sweet she really is.
She loves to be held and never put down!!!! I guess if I could be carried around every where I would do it too. Sweet baby girl!!!!

New furniture

I love this chair. It is soooo big it is almost as big as the loveseat. It reclines and is nice to have when I am needing to nurse Eliza.
LoveSeat
Couch with cute little Daniel

This is the first brand new set of furniture that we have bought in our entire marriage. We looked for a while but you can never really know what you really want. But we really like them. They are comfortable and I am not having to deal with fixing the couch covers on them 100 times a day. The couches that we had were given to us by some friends and they weren't new with them either. So they were pretty worn and we of corse with 7 kids have worn them out pretty bad. Do you like them????

against my wishes

Okay Tom thinks that Eliza is ready for some food. I think that she is too young but he thinks that I have some subconscious issues about her eating food. We had some food in the house that a friend of his from work sent home. He made the cereal and she had a few bites. I think she liked it she had a few bites but then started spitting it out. She is only 3 months old. But Nathan was 3 months when I tried it with him because she just was not satisfied with anything. I wish you all could have seen him at that age. He loved real food and couldn't get enough. I made a big bowl of cereal and he ate the whole thing. I thought he was going to explode. She may want it but she will be the last an I guess I am trying to keep her young as long as possible. I don't know. She already does things that make her seem like she isn't' a baby any more. She practically sits up all by her self. She never wants to be cuddled. She seems so big and old but she really is only 3 months old. Tom fed this stuff to her all against my wishes. In fact it was totally behind my back. I didn't even take the pictures. Aaron did. What do you think. Too young to get food? Or am I just being mean denying my kid what she wants?

Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

So they had a free day at the children's museum so we thought we would go and enjoy the day together.
The kids had such a good time there. It was hot outside so it was nice to have something fun to do out of the sun.
And the best part was we didn't have to pay for it. Things like that add up for us when you have 7 kids.

This by far is my favorite picture of the whole day. This was a thing that you could take a ball and suspend it in the air because of air being forced out of the hole. Emma found it very funny to that it distorted her face.

5 things tag

I am not sure if I was suppose to copy the tag or what but I can't ever remember how to do that. So here goes.
5 things I was doing 10 years ago:
  1. We were stressing moving,Tom graduating, and making sure our apartment was spotless for the Whymount police(one little tiny thing and they took money out of your deposit)
  2. Trying to stay pregnant with Nathan. With all the stress of the move and what not I several times started going into labor early with him.
  3. Moving in with mom and dad
  4. Trying to find Tom a job
  5. Giving Birth to a sick Nathan who was in the NICU for a week(the longest week of my life) I just realized that this was just 9 years ago.
5 things on my to do list: really Mollie this list could be a mile long for me right now
  1. organize and clean up Eliza's room-for me after I have a baby and you don't have time to figure out where something goes it just get piled in her room
  2. clean my bathroom-there is pink mold growing on the shower rim
  3. go grocery shopping
  4. take a nap!!!!!
  5. cut all the boys hair AGAIN- I think I have to do this every 3 weeks or so
5 favorite snacks/foods:

  2. anything italian
  3. anything bread like

5 bad habits:(Mollie I was so shocked when you admitted it but yeah I think everyone picks their nose we just don't talk about it because we are too embarrassed about it)

  1. yelling- bad bad habit of mine
  2. I pop my knuckles at least once a day
  3. I eat way too much sugar

Pest or beauty to watch??

It looks as if they are just nice and pretty to watch. But don't be deceived.
As soon as you open anything that has food in it they have this homing device that says they need to hang around in case any kid drops a chip or something. And they can't take a hint at all. As I recall we have never had good experiences with these birds. My brother got pooped on by one. We called that bird Charlie and it has been a joke of the family ever since. I wish they could just stay out there in the ocean taking care of dead fish and all, far far away from my food, my kids, and especially my sleeping baby.

Sunscreen anyone? NOT

This is why you should #1 not buy clear sunscreen
#2 not apply it at the beach
#3 not apply it when the wind is blowing very hard
This is what we have learned #1 apply sunscreen at house before we get to beach
#2 never ever buy clear sunscreen because you can't be quit be sure where you are getting
#3 never say oh I will be okay my legs never get sun on them(that would be me the mother who said such a dumb thing and every night I got up to feed the baby I would die because when the blood would come to my legs my legs would throb they hurt so badly)

A whole week later and we are just now not complaining any more about someone accidently rubbing against a shoulder or a leg
